IEEE ISCAS is the flagship conference in the fields of theory, design and implementation of circuits and systems. The competition requires undergraduates to propose solutions based on practical problems encountered in circuits and systems. The scoring is based on the technicality, innovation and practicality of the projects as proposed.
SEU's project designed a visual control wheelchair system based on pupil center-corneal reflection for patients with high paraplegia. On the basis of a large number of clinical trials and field tests, it explored the possibility of combining visual recognition with intelligent disability equipment, aiming to improve the patients’ quality of life, which highlights a good application prospect; besides, its novelty and practicality have been highly appreciated by the judges.
