On the morning of December 10, the launching ceremony of SEU-IBM Cloud Computing Joint Research Centre was held at Jiulonghu campus. Currently, this centre is IBM’s first one worldwide and the only joint research centre established with China’s colleges in the field of cloud computing.
At the founding ceremony, Vice President Hu Minqiang, Deputy Director Li Qi and Director Keith Brown and Ms. Huang Huiyin addressed one after one. Dean Luo Junzhou introduced IBM’s worldwide cooperation programs with universities and SEU-IBM Cloud Computing Joint Research Centre. He and Keith Brown then signed on the memorandum of cooperation on behalf of both sides. The seniors and technical experts of SEU and IBM also received the letter of appointment by the Cloud Computing Joint Research Centre.
