    On November 28, Professor On Kit Tam, Associate Vice President of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University came to Southeast University, and discussed international cooperation of the accounting discipline with the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University.
    After Professor On Kit Tam, the Associate Vice President had a preliminary discussion on the international cooperation of the finance and accounting disciplines between the two universities with Professor Chen Zhibin, the dean of the School of Finance and Accounting, he had a cooperation talk with relevant leaders of the International Cooperation Department, the Graduate School and the School of Finance and Accounting in Sipailou Campus which was chaired by Professor Chen Lianghua, the secretary of party committee of the School of Economics and Management. Both sides have reached a preliminary cooperation intention in aspects like undergraduate exchange in majors like economics, managements and finances and accounting, undergraduates’ 2+2 mutual recognition of credits, graduates’ 1+1 mutual recognition of credits, cooperative education, teacher exchange, collaborative research.
    During the visit, Mr. Xu Kangning dean of the School of Economics and Management met with Professor On Kit Tam, the Associate Vice President, accompanied by Zhang Jiwen, the vice director of the Office of Academic Affairs and Chen Zhibin, the dean of the School of Finance and Accounting in Jiulonghu Campus.
    Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, founded in 1887, is an international technology and design university, also the largest institution of higher education in Australia, with a history of 120 years. It is renowned for its excellent practical education and the result-oriented research, as the one of the 100 best universities in the world, top ten universities in Australia and one of the ATN (the Union of Five Polytechnic Colleges). It has 74,000 students including 30,000 international students, and the number of its undergraduates ranks 4th in Australia.
