On the night of December 28, the 2013 new year concert was staged grandly at the Jiao Tingbiao Pavilion of Jiulonghu campus. Vanderbilt Symphony Orchestra of the United States brought to our school a music feast. Vice president Zheng Jiamao and heads of the related departments jointed the more than 1000 teachers and students in appreciating the elegant concert, celebrating the coming new year.
During the two-hour performance, the superb performance and the harmonious and warm atmosphere made the audience feel the infinite charm of Vanderbilt Symphony Orchestra of the United States. Under the command of the renowned conductor John Miller, three Chinese songs made listeners bask in the charm of Chinese traditional arts; other famous tracks such as Waltz, Radetzky March and Polka
were more magnificent.
