NANJING, China, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Women's Epee World Cup kicked off Friday in Nanjing, capital city of east China's Jiangsu Province.
The World Cup, which serves as one of the qualifying tournaments for next year's Rio Olympic Games, attracted nearly 200 epee fencers from over 30 countries and regions going for the individual and group titles.
London Olympic champion Xu Anqi spearheaded a 30-member Chinese team to participate in the three-day competition.
